Description/Job Summary

Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for Application Systems Analyst Programmer Associate at its corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, KY Under immediate supervision, assists in research and fact-finding to develop or modify information systems.  Assists in preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written.  Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains those programs.  Staffed by beginners who have had sufficient educational background and/or experience to qualify them to start in applications systems analysis and programming.


  • Maintains and modifies existing application systems                                           
  • Assists higher-level programmers in the development of complex programs.     
  • Works on routine, well defined, analysis type problems related to a single activity or procedure and having some variety and/or moderate difficulty.
  • Develops test plans with expected results.                                                          
  • Participates in certain aspects of user consulting, systems analysis, general systems design, vendor contracts and detail systems design.
  • Writes new programs of moderate complexity and scope, working with basic application systems design and specifications, and utilizing standard procedures and techniques

Required Experience

0 – 2 years of systems design and programming work experience including major systems development and implementation experience

Required Qualifications

BS or BA in business information systems or computer science or related field.
