Description/Job Summary

Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for Intern at its corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, KY.
This internship position will assist the Digital Marketing Manager with the coordination of digital marketing initiatives for Vanity Fair and sites.


Responsible for assisting manager on planning and executing photo/video shoots by assisting with:
  • Shot lists
  • Product samples
  • Model casting
  • Work on retouching/recoloring images
  • Update image metadata for Salsify
Collaborate with manager on writing copy for product attributes including:
  • Bullets
  • Descriptions
  • Fabric Content
  • Country of origin
  • Responsible for Amazon A+ page development and loading
  • Create product tours calling out key benefits of bras and panties
  • Size Charts
Content Auditing – and
  • Incorrect/missing images and size charts
  • Copy issues – hyphen usage, missing or unclear content
Bazaarvoice Sampling Campaigns
  • Product Sample orders and delivery
  • Campaign execution


Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (Junior or Senior year) in Marketing/Advertising/PR, Journalism degree or related discipline.
  • Prior classes in writing marketing briefs and writing/copy preferred
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, notably Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with design software, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign preferred
  • Prior experience working with photography – knowledge of image resolutions and editing is a plus
