Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for a IT Finance Analyst at its corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, KY.

The IT Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing FOTL’s IT cost structure, projects, and financial projections, while identifying and quantifying opportunities for synergy and cost savings. This position is responsible for preparing and managing the annual IT finance budget, bench marking IT costs internally and externally and helps manage capital expenses in accordance with annual plan commitments. Works closely with the IT Senior Leadership Team, including the CIO

Responsibilities/Duties

Compile and analyze financial information for the IT organization. Responsible for the review and analysis of the overall IT cost structure, capital expenditure projects, financial projections, SG&A expenses and IT organization budgets and forecasts.

Create, maintain and continually evaluate the annual IT financial budget.  Accumulate annual plan data in the creation of the budget. Ensure consistency in budget preparation and staffing estimates. Review purchase requisitions and invoices for compliance with the established budget and forecast. Prepare monthly forecast reporting. Moderate monthly forecast meetings.

Utilize knowledge of IT budgets and expenditures to provide recommendations to IT Leadership for synergies, headcount/staffing review and cost savings. Responsible for tracking the progress of cost improvement projects throughout the year.

Manage Oracle segregation of duties compliance / sensitive access via compliance automation software.

Conduct monthly internal and external benchmarking cost analyses between IT vendors, cost categories and departments to identify best practices and potential cost savings.

Manage capital and expense AFE projects in accordance with annual plan commitments. Assist with creating/completing AFE documentation.  Monitor capital purchases and associated depreciation costs.

Provide support for ongoing ad hoc financial analysis and research for IT leadership.

Manage IT compliance and controls for software licensing and compliance globally. Participate in IT Audits as needed.

Other tasks as needed, including but not limited to:
• Purchase end user software/hardware.
• Provide support for IT audits.
• Domain name management.

Required Experience

  • 0-2 years of financial analysis or accounting experience.
  • Previous experience compiling and analyzing budgets/forecasts preferred. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field, or equivalent years of related work experience required.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to plan, monitor and manage projects.
