Supervises the completeness and accuracy of orders shipped to customers. Coordinates the most cost-effective transportation on issues requiring non-standard processes.
Supervises the department’s daily activities, monitors daily workflow and establishes priorities. This includes assigning work responsibility, preparing schedules, setting deadlines, disseminating policy and resolving issues as they arise.
Collects data to monitor the status of work in progress and to assist in planning and coordinating the department’s activities with other departments. Reports the status of work in progress and problems encountered. Ensure required reports are completed
accurately and submitted on time.
Evaluates current procedures and practices to develop and implement process improvements.
Promotes safety within the department.
2+ years of distribution / logistics work experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Professional certification in inventory management or distribution management is a plus. Solid understanding of work flow processing, inventory control and order fulfillment procedures. Must have a background
in automated inventory control managements systems and integration processes. Strong Microsoft Office skills.
