Description/Job Summary

Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for an Maintenance Assistant at its corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, KY.
The position maintains the buildings and grounds of the of the Bowling Green office locations. 

 

Responsibilities/Duties

Assists with completing general building maintenance work request, as noted on Building Services’ work list for Corporate Office, Design Center, Sample Center and Fruit North Buildings.
Move/deliver boxes for department personnel throughout the buildings
Assists with office furniture moves and office set-ups as needed
Inspect and deliver company vehicles to maintenance facility
Maintain a safe and neat environment in and around all Corporate buildings
Maintain the atrium/creeks within the Corporate Office
Inspect and test all the fire alarm systems
Inspect all tools and equipment in the department

Required Experience

  • 0 -2 years of maintenance related experience

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of general building maintenance
  • This position is expected to pass Craft Training within a year of hire. (Subjects include carpentry, electrical, HVAC and safety
