Description/Job Summary

Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for a Scheduling Clerk at its Montgomery, AL facility.

This position is responsible for scheduling, assigning and monitoring the daily activity of the warehouse, shipping and receiving areas.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Povides guidance and work direction for warehousing procedures                      
  • Ensures that all documentation is properly prepared and timely released                         
  • Schedules, receives, assigns and reviews the processing of shipments and receipts           
  • Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required by management.
Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign).
Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, and off shift.
Position may require on-call duty or overtime due to overall responsibility.
 

Required Experience

1 – 3 years of work experience processing finished apparel and/or work in inventory control

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management a plus
Strong computer/office equipment knowledge
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to operate, or capacity to learn how to operate, a forklift and order picker equipment
