Description/Job Summary

Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst (Intern) at its corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, KY.
The Business Analyst Intern supports the company’s objectives with insights, implications and recommendations gained through analysis of various primary and secondary sources of information. This includes point of sale, shipment data, consumer data and market intelligence. This position is expected to support the department with ensuring reports and insights provided are valuable to the teams, actionable and lead to fact-based decision making within the organization.


Develop skills to gather and process datasets utilized in corporate and syndicated market reports.
Support the distribution and analysis of standardized corporate/market reports using syndicated market data, internal POS and shipment data across multiple business units. Provide key learnings of relevant trends.
Serve as a resource to support strategic needs of the business units through additional analysis on POS trend, new item analysis, competitive trends, promotion/pricing/ad effectiveness and other growth opportunities.

Required Experience

  • Previous work experience not required
  • Quantitative analysis/database experience is a plus
