Description/Job Summary

Fruit of the Loom, an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for an Associate Manager Licensing at its Corporate Office in Bowling Green, KY. The Associate Manager Licensing will support the day-to-day management of the licensing programs for FOTL, Inc. This role serves as a key communication liaison between external partners and internal cross-functional teams to facilitate partner engagement in support of our brand strategies.  This role also will be responsible for brand assurance and the adherence of the annual activity calendar for both internal and external partners, across our entire portfolio of brands.
 

Responsibilities/Duties

Relationship Management. 
Facilitate open lines of communication between internal brand stakeholders and external partners to inform partners’ product development in keeping with brand strategies.  Manage the annual activity calendar for partner engagement across all partners. 
Brand Assurance. 
Ensure adherence to product and packaging approval process throughout all stages of development. This includes monitoring the online product approval system, reviewing pre-production samples, following up with approving parties, and ensuring that final production samples are consistent with pre-production physical and electronic samples.
Financial Reporting.
Solicit partner forecasts and business updates per established calendar to monitor performance and identify significant trends.
Legal Compliance.
Facilitate Intellectual Property management, including IP clearance requests, proof of use, and counterfeit verification. Agreement renewal notification to appropriate internal personnel.
Social Compliance.
Facilitate licensed partner compliance with the Company’s social compliance program

Required Experience

3-5 years of relevant business experience in brand/product or communications management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or related business management.

Solid understanding of the marketing mix, including product, promotion/advertising, and distribution strategies.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
