Description/Job Summary

 

This position operates duplicator presses (1 color) and performs secondary duties on 2-color or more unit presses. Assists in the bindery area when needed and with other projects as assigned.

Responsibilities/Duties

 

Operates duplicator presses (1 color) and is press helper on 120Vor 6 color press. Loads paper, keeps a check on ink level. Keeps blanket wash on hand. Watches press during break.

55%

Assist in the bindery area. Catches on folder machine, loads or catches on the collator machine. Operates cutter.

25%

Perform light maintenance on presses as needed. Perform weekly and monthly press maintenance.

10%

Maintain supplies for press. Notifies proper personnel when paper and ink levels are low and need to be ordered.

5%

Assist in mailing jobs or other tasks that may be assigned.

Required Experience

0-1 year of printing operations work experience

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
