Intern (Merchandising) at its corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, KY.
This Merchandising Intern will assist by supporting the Merchandise team in identifying and creating consumer inspired, trend right product, print and color concepts, which will provide profitable growth opportunities for our company. This would include but
not be limited to assisting the merchandising team by creating boards, organizing print & color libraries, supporting preparation for account calls.
MERCHANDISING - Works with Merchandiser, Assistant & Associate Merchandiser to build trend right boards as directed. Research trend & color as directed. Organize color, fabric, print, thread libraries. Calendar adherence. Assist Merchandising
team with trend competitive analysis reports.
• SAMPLES – Order and follow up on all sample needs in a timely manner. Assist merchandising & sales teams in securing samples and line info for all previews, steering meetings and follow-up appointments. Requests fabric & cloth from R&D.
• COLOR – Assist in preparation and communication of color flow information and CSI standard details. Request color codes. Ensure all color boards are maintained and up to date with details and provide to all business groups in a timely manner.
Also, assist in preparing trend analysis and boards seasonally as needed
• MARKETING – Help assist in updating decks and pulling samples as needed for meetings.
Strong communication skills - written and oral
Illustrator, Photoshop proficient
Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office
Good organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
Working toward BS/BA with 0-2 years experience fashion merchandising, design, apparel experience.
