to support Vanity Fair intimate apparel at its corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, KY.
The Digital Marketing Manager has responsibility and accountability for managing the marketing efforts related to Vanity Fair Brand digital communities to ultimately drive business unit growth and profitability (P&L responsibility). Responsible for translating
marketing brand strategy into short and long-range digital brand strategies inclusive of pricing, product mix, brand communication, consumer segmentation and targeting, distribution, etc. The Manager represents the business unit across the organization, acts
as the digital liaison to and from the Marketing team, and works cross-functionally to achieve goals.
Brand / Business Strategy
Collaborate with Marketing team to develop and execute short and long-term retailer digital strategies. Execute global retailer.com digital content to support the marketing strategy, drive brand recognition and promote compelling messaging resulting in increased
sales activity and leads. Represent the voice of the Marketing team to the Digital / Ecommerce team.
Website Content Load
Partner with Marketing and Digital / Ecommerce teams to load content (copy, pdp, imagery, alternate images, video, etc.) on retailer websites by established deadlines. Provide Marketing and Digital / Ecommerce team with deadlines when content is due.
Manage indirect partnership with cross-functional teams and multiple marketing projects at various stages to a successful and timely execution. Requires strong coordination and communication across the various teams to ensure business objectives are met.
Manage the completion of marketing initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams and potential external partners.
Identify and work with the Digital / Ecommerce team on projects to add or enhance content on the retailer.com channels to increase relevance, engagement, and ultimately goal completion.
Maintain an updated status report on project elements with clear action items and deliverables and follow-up with cross-functional team members and agencies as needed to ensure project elements are on track.
Report out results of marketing initiatives. Advise marketing of the ROI on tactics and make recommendations for refinements to digital strategy and tactics.
Deliver all aspects of projects on time.
Responsible for assigned brand(s) budget. Report on financial expenditures related to initiatives. Collaborate with business unit leader to ensure the digital spend is within objectives and budget.
Pricing / Trade Promotions
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Digital / Ecommerce teams to provide recommendations to the business unit for trade and consumer promotional strategies. Provide pricing, promotional and media buy guidelines for retailer.com that reflects marketing’s
strategy and considers retailer promotional pricing and their strategies. For unique digital product, partner with Digital / Ecommerce team to develop pricing recommendations by analyzing cost, list price and suggested retail price to achieve brand and retailer
Communications / Presentation
Presentation creation and delivery across internal teams and external partners. Ensure team is providing appropriate messaging for the target audience. Facilitate meaningful discussion around feedback to move a project forward. As a digital marketing subject
matter expert, serve as a point of contact for advice/opinions/education across the organization, especially to the Marketing team.
Business Analytics & Reporting
Routine and ad hoc analysis and reporting. Track and measure metrics to support goals and strategic imperatives from various initiatives and communicate to appropriate management. Analyze and report on retailer.com results. Take corrective action or make
recommended improvements as needed to optimize spending versus business goals.
Retailer.com /Brand.com Product Portfolio Management
Based on dynamic business needs, partner with Marketing, Sales and Digital / Ecommerce teams to develop and implement unique new product strategy for retailer.com and brand.com
Provide updates to members of Marketing team. Assist in training of department staff on digital marketing process and procedures. Responsible for day-to-day management of assigned staff. Manage performance and provide timely feedback. Support the continuous
improvement of Marketing team process and performance.
Inventory Management & Forecasting
Monitor retail sales and consumer demand trends to support the Sales team as they manage the forecast and maximize inventory levels.
5 - 7 years of digital marketing or e-commerce work experience
Proven ability to oversee all marketing activities for assigned brand(s)
Proven track record of contributing to the development of numerous digital projects of various sizes through the project lifecycle
Demonstrated expertise in understanding of e-commerce, social media and digital media
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.MBA preferred.
General management approach to business and experience in developing marketing strategies to leverage all marketing mix elements:product, pricing, promotion / advertising, distribution strategies.
Demonstrated working expertise in digital marketing tactics and web analytics
Solid financial acumen.
Strong leadership skills applicable across the organization.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Effective presentation skills.
Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders and interface with various levels of management.
