|Oversee the storage and distribution activities of the distribution facility. Manage the daily operation of the DC and plans for future operational and financial requirement to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits.|
|Analyze department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocate operating budget. Establish and manage the budget by constant review and follow-up on results of production, efficiency, costs, inventory stocking status and product replenishment.|
|Develop, evaluate and improve distribution methods by utilizing extensive knowledge of product, storage and retrieval methods, equipment capabilities, quality control standards and transportation methods. Recommend capital expenditures for the purchase of new equipment or facility improvement.|
|Manage and coordinate the activities of department managers and staff as required. Direct the formulation of administrative and operational policy and procedures.|
|Coordinate the resolution of employee grievances as appropriate. Develop guidance in the enforcement of active safety awareness programs to ensure OSHA and FOTL safety standards are met.|
|Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements and processes to ensure efficient utilization of resources for maximum operational efficiency and cost effectiveness, promote organization in industry, manufacturing and professional development of management staff.|
